The Doodle 4 Google
Competition held by Google, Inc. is competition where the
company invites K-12 students throughout the United States to
work their artistic will upon their homepage logo. Google
believes in thinking big and dreaming big, so this year they’ve
invited U.S. kids to exercise their creative imaginations around
the theme, "If I Could Do Anything, I Would …"
Global Art shares this
opinion of the importance of creativity. We at Global Art
believe that a child’s imagination and creativity form the
cornerstones for intellectual development. Our program develops
not only the artistic skills of children, but also the creative
skills. By honing creative thinking in children, there is no
limit to what they can achieve, invent, design, create, or
accomplish in the future.
Global Art student Ayush
Patel has recently won the title of State Level Finalist in the
Doodle 4 Google Competition. State Level Finalists doodles were
chosen from a total of 33,000 entries from across the country.
The 400 State Finalists were chosen by Google employees based on
a list of criteria that includes artistic merit and creativity.
In each state, two doodles were selected in each grade group, so
that each grade group and each state were represented equally.
Ayush Patel has been a student at Global Art for months now and
has been developing his creative and artistic skills diligently.
His winning entry for Doodle 4 Google can now be seen from a
link on the Google main page. Global Art is proud of its student
for achieving this award. Congratulations, Ayush!
